For their first collection at the creative helm of the renowned Venetian textile company Rubelli, Formafantasma tasked Apartamento Studios with designing its catalogue. 

In collaboration with all creatives involved and the printing house, we materialized the collection into a romantic yet practical publication, a creative statement and a sales tool fused into one object.

In line with the photography by Federico Ciamei, the design strikes a balance between historic and contemporary. The tactile textile cover is adorned with a tipped-in photo, hinting at the catalogue’s imagery, and a stamped logo, putting the historic brand name front and center.

The publication is entirely typeset in Marist, a warm take on a typographic genre with centuries-old origins leading back to Venice, mirroring Rubelli’s own history.

All beautifully produced in Italy.
